The Teachers Mate 1 popularly known as the TM1 laptop is product spearheaded by the Ghana Government in its attempt to provide laptops for the teaching poplulation. In my view it is a decent laptop capable for basic student tasks such as browing, word processing, playing music, videos, a couple of low end games. It is the best of the best but it is just decent.

Installing the drivers involves a series of steps that must be followed meticulously. The complete driver is a zip file that needs to be extracted using a zip extraction tool such as WinRAR. Once extracted, the drivers can be installed using the “.inf” file. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to install TM1 Laptop drivers:

Access the Device Manager on your computer. You can do this by pressing the Windows Logo Key + X on your keyboard (this works for Windows 8 and above) and selecting Device Manager. Alternatively, you can Right-click the start button and choose Device Manager from the list of options.
Identify the device that requires a driver update or reinstallation. For this example, we’re using the Multimedia Audio Controller.
Right-click on the identified device and select Update Driver. In the subsequent screen, choose Browse, my computer for drivers.

4. On the next screen, click the “Browse” button and navigate to the folder where you extracted the drivers (TM1 DRIVERS). Select the folder and click on OK.
